Anti-Corruption Investigation Bureau

Who We Are

The Anti-Corruption Investigations Bureau (ACIB) has its genesis in the Special Investigations Unit, which was established as a sub-unit of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), in 1997, to investigate alleged acts of impropriety on the part of Justices of the Peace.

What We Do

The mandate of the ACIB has since been expanded to include the investigation of all reports and allegations of corruption against:

1.    Government Officials
2.    Public Officers
3.    Police Officers
4.    Public and Statutory Bodies
