Some of the video presentations here have been produced by the Audio Visual Unit (AVU) of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The unit has been in operation since August 1998 and has been established to:
- Audio and video record and archive police related events and activities
- Disseminate audio and /or video recording of police related events and activities to the print and electronic media, highlighting the Police service in a positive manner
- Formulate programmes and documentaries on various aspects of policing for promotional purposes and public awareness
- Assist in divisional and branch activities where necessary and practicable by providing assistance of a public address system, example: town meetings, etc
- Provide technical audio-visual assistance to the Police service
These functions serve to enhance the image of the Police Service and the relationship between the Police service and the Public.
